Merry Xmas!

I had Christmas early dinner at Anzu in Hotel Nikko in San Francisco. The buffet was not as great as Fairmount in San Jose. I watched the movie Dreamgirls and it was a really good movie with Jennifer Hudson (from American Idol) gives an outstanding performance. Last night, I went to Castro in San Francisco at Badlands (cool place to watch the music videos), The Bar (chilled out in the front), and The Cafe (2nd story bar and dancing). Tomorrow morning, I'm leaving for New York City.

the queen

I watched two movies yesterday that were nominated for Golden Globe. I didn't like Pursuit of Happiness because the movie was slow and seemed to drag on. I liked The Queen. In between movies, we had dinner buffet at Passage to India and it was not so good because the food was cold.

King Clubs

I went to King of Clubs in Mountain View with Barf, Lard, and Mike. Then we headed to Tinker's Damn in Santa Clara. Before that, we went to Scott's Seafood for dinner with Bennie.

Golden Wok

I had dim sum for lunch with the Talofa Crew at Golden Wok. It has been a while since I ate dim sum. I will later get my eyebrows waxed.

Szechuan Trenz

Last night, I had Chinese hot pot at Szechuan Trenz in Oakland with Kris and Mike, and it was really good. We ordered lamb, duck intestine, river eel, pork liver, and spinach. Afterwards, my clothes smelled like food. The duck intestine looks like the macaroni pasta and tasted like octopus rubbery texture. I had lunch today at 3TA Asian fusion with Diana, recently opened last Monday. The food was good, I had the chili basil chicken. Yesterday, I had potluck at work and ate so much food. Tonight, I will meet up with Maria for coffee at Starbucks.

Elk Grove

I went to Elk Grove last night with my cousin Lynn and we ordered food at Red Ribbon for empanadas, and crispy chicken and squid at Tapioca Express. I woke early to leave Elk Grove and I made it to work on time.

Last night, I ate dinner with my mom at Little India in Redwood City for dinner buffet. I will not go there again because the food was a bit cold.

Rolling Dunes

Yesterday, I had lunch at Rolling Dunes on Lakeshore Ave. in Oakland. Afterwards, we went to Emeryville on Bay St. area near Ikea to go shopping.

Mills College

I will be visiting Shilpa at Mills College. I have not seen her in a while since she has been busy with school. Yesterday, I had lunch with my co-workers at Rose Market which I had a good chicken and beef super sandwich. You have to order your food first at the cashier and then the cashier will announce your food order on the PA system, then you go outside of the market and then turn left and you will see a window to pick up your sandwich.

I had dinner at Broadway Bistro with Kristine and Mike. I liked the roti prata. I had lunch at Phoung Thao with Christine and Tee for Vietnamese noodle soup which I liked. I had lunch yesterday with Haz and Kan at Ariake for sushi.

Antojitos

I had lunch at Antojitos Salvadorenos on Duane in Sunnyvale with my mom. I liked the pupusa and enchilada. I bought my airline ticket this morning for New York City. I will be there from 12/27 to 1/1.

I had lunch at gyro house for mediterrean food on Castro St. in downtown Mountain View.

Ruby's Tacqueria

I had lunch at Ruby's Tacqueria in Sunnyvale close to work with my co-workers. After work, I finally got my eyebrows waxed at Charisma and then I went shopping for sneakers at Macy's.

Gumba

I had lunch at Gumba for Italian food on Murphy Ave. in Sunnyvale with my co-worker. I also went to Clocktower in the morning for coffee.

Siam Royal

I had lunch at Siam Royal with Kandice on Murphy Ave. in Sunnyvale. I'm not sure if that was the name of the restaurant. We wanted to go to Dish Dash but there was a waiting list. Last night, I first time ate frog at Kristine's place. It tasted like chicken.

Hyde Bar

I had brunch at Aperto in San Francisco on the corner of Conneticut and 18th with my cousin Mary, Ange, and Venky. I had the smoked salmon platter and it was okay, I felt a bit sick after a few hours so I drank a lot of green tea and then I felt better. Last night, I went to Hyde Cafe and Wine Bar to celebrate my cousin Mary's 30 something birthday in San Francisco. I had the grilled swordfish which was good. My cousin and her friends had the lamb and steak which they liked. Then we cabbed over to Bubble Lounge (across from Transamerica Pyramid), I had do much champagne. I ordered the Mimi Bubble Zaza which I liked of orange juice, cranberry juice, and champagne. I also liked the food that my cousin ordered, the sandwiches, strawberry chocolate fondue, and the cracker snacks. The basement had a dance floor but the music was not all that great to dance to. We stayed at the Sheraton Fisherman's Wharf for one night but the room stunk so bad of smoke. Currently, I am at Kris and Mike's place to eat dinner. They so cook good food.

I had lunch with Xine at her house for Vietnamese sandwich. We finally made it to Beard Papa's Cream Puff in San Francisco and visited the dome at Westfield shopping center on Market St. next to Nordstrom. I had dinner at Elephant Bar with Xine, Kristine, and Mike. I ordered the pan asian soup which I didn't like. I liked the clear spring roll. I had lunch this week at World Wraps and Tia Juana Mexican restaurant. The week before, I had Thanksgiving at Fairmount hotel in downtown San Jose for brunch. Then later that night, I went to my cousin's house to eat dessert. Next day, I went to ABC Seafood for dim sum and made a quick stop at Off Saks 5th at Great Mall.
