so sad

I am so sad. My aunt, Mama Nene passed away last night. She had been living with my family for more than 10 years. I am so shocked!!! She went to the emergency early this morning because her arm was bleeding, it is the same arm that the doctors use for her dialysis three times a week. My aunt was blind and had diabetes. Her mind was very strong. Dr. Snider suggested arm surgery so that the infection does not lead to her heart. She had arm surgery in the evening, and she died of cardiac arrest. She had two arm surgeries in the past. We assumed that this arm surgery would be a success like the previous surgeries. I am still in shock. I can't believe it that she is gone. The doctor said that they tried to revive her but she did not come through. After she passed on, I went to see her at the San Mateo hospital, it was so difficult to see her, to believe that she died. She was so young, only 66 and exactly 3 months. Her birthday was April 26, 1939 and she died July 26, 2005. I thought she would live a long time. I still can't believe it. My foundest memory of her was when she made rice krispy treats when I was a kid. Why did she die so young? Was it her destiny to die? I will so miss her. I didn't say goodbye.
