rouge

On Saturday, I had lunch at Isobune for sushi boat on Burlingame Ave. First time I saw a lot of Japanese folks in the restaurant. Later on, we went to San Francisco for dancing at Sutra but my friend's friend could not get us in for free so instead we went to Rouge on Broadway and Polk. The DJ played good music for like 30 minutes and then afterwards it was down hill, mixing different kinds like playing Spanish type of song, and then a hip hop song. I liked suite 181 music better. I didn't get home till 5am because we went to Mel's diner after Rouge and we got 50% off our bill since the host didn't seat us down ahead of this other group that stole our table. On Sunday, I had dim sum at Fook Yeun in Millbrae. It has been a while since I had dim sum.

transformer

I watched the movie transformer and I liked it. The parents were so funny. I had lunch at Isobune in Burlingame for lunch. Yesterday I had dinner at Bangkok Bay in Redwood City.

foot reflexology massage

I had a massage for $20 at Splendid Foot Reflexology on 1221 Story Road near MacLaughlin. First started off with the head, neck, arm, legs, feet, thigh, then back and butt. If you request no feet, then you have to pay $30. Before the massage, I got my eyebrows waxed for $7 on Story Rd. at US Hair and Nails. I had lunch at Pho Queen on Alum Rock or Santa Clara St. near 9th which I liked, ordered the seafood egg noodle #29.

Kimmie's bridal shower

I went to Kimmie's bridal shower at her future sister in law's house. She had so many presents to open. We played a game that if you said wedding, then you lose the spiral bracelet. I lost my bracelet twice. I caught her future sister in law say the wedding word. The food was good, I had asparagus wrapped with dough puff, chicken crepe w/cheese, clam dip with crackers, cheesecake, and salad.

hang over

I just watched the hang over movie and I recommend watching it. I laughed a lot. After the movie, I ate at Beque Korean Grill in Santa Clara on El Camino Real in between Kiely Blvd and Lawrence Expressway. I ordered the bulgogi which was good. The place is sort of hidden since it is all the way in the back.

Lindsay's graduation at UCLA

I was in Los Angeles for the weekend for my cousin Lindsay's graduations at UCLA for double masters in Public Health and Asian American studies. We stayed at the Beverly Hills Plaza Hotel about 1 miles from UCLA.
Friday: graduation ceremony at Royce Hall for Public Health, Fat Burger in Westwood, BCD Tofu House for dinner, and Linday's apartment to check it out
Saturday: Ami for sushi in Westwood, Piccomolo for Italian gelato (I liked the dulce de leche.), Standard hotel for dinner (so trendy)
Sunday: Brentwood Farmer's market (I liked the pupusa, horchata, empanada, and strawberries.) , Fat Burger again, Asian American ceremony at theSchoenberg hall.
