hair cut

I just came back from Artistic which I got my bob hair cut from. She chopped off like 2-3 inches of my hair since it was so thick and shoulder length. She also did my eyebrows. I feel so much better.

I'm going to drop off my cousin tonight because she is going to the inauguration in DC, lucky her. Before the airport, we are going to stop at Hokaru in San Mateo for Japanese food. I have not been there yet.

badminton

I played badminton in Burlingame last Sunday and now I'm feeling sore. It is weird, I usually feel the soreness after two days. After badminton, I pigged out at Zen Peninsula for dim sum. I need to start running again because my cousin Mary signed me up for the 10k race in Santa Cruz on April.

back from Vietnam and Taiwan

I got back from Vietnam and Taiwan a few days ago. I had fun on the trip. I was amazed that Ho Chi Minh City has so many motorcycles. I saw more motorcycles than the cars. It is so hard to cross the street, we had to cross each lane at a time. I liked touring the Cu Chi Tunnels. I went to Hoc Mon where Nga's family is from, so it was good to see other places besides Ho Chi Minh City. In Taiwan, I liked Taipei 101 and Chang Kay Shek Memorial Hall. The street food and dim sum is good. I would recommend Ding Tai Feng which Shally recommended to me to go for xiao long bao. In Puli, Taiwan, I liked the Chung Thai Chan Monastery which is a few hours from Taipei. You have to book tour reservations of the monastery like 3 days in advance. If you don't book tour guide, then you can only tour the 1st and 2nd floor.
