Vim was in town this weekend for a few nights visiting from Boston. It was fun, we ate at Thai Pepper, Bombay Garden, and Tofu House. We went dancing at Ra or whatever the place is called that used to be F&A in Palo Alto. I had fun dancing, even though I was bumping a lot of people. I flew to Watsonville. The week before I flew to Hollister.

I just flew out of reid-hillview airport then the low voltage light illuminated, then we turned off and on the master switch, the the light turned off, then a few seconds later, the light turned on again, so we went back to the airport because of an alternator failure. I have about 4-5 hours to go before I can take the oral and checkride exam.

Yesterday, I flew solo to Los Banos, Stockton, and Livermore for about 152 nautical miles to fufill the solo long distance (cross country) flying time. Check out my pictures at my flickr site, this was taken on July 26 when I flew solo to Oakdale.
