Yaya is visiting

I'll see Yaya this Sunday. She will be in the SF Bay Area for 2 nights and the rest of the time in Pittsburgh. It has been like ages since I saw her in Singapore. Lately, I could not fly because of bad weather, hopefully next month will be better weather. This Tuesday is the election day.

Heeral's wedding

Last night, I went to Heeral and Kumar's wedding. The reception hall was so fancy and nice at the Marriott in Fremont. The color theme was purple. They got married in India last month and had the wedding reception here. I liked the dancing, video, and pictures. I can't believe it that I have known Heeral since freshmen year of college. Time sure flies by.

asian garden

I had dinner last night with Manang Mary at Asian Garden and it was good Vietnamese food. I had dinner today with Ian at Suri Sushi and it was good too. I finally went to the gym today and the last time I went to the gym was on the 1st. Today and yesterday, I flew the traffic pattern because the weather was not so good to fly over 3,000 feet. I so need a lot of practice for landing.

Happy New Year!

People at work are still saying Happy New Year! even though it has been like 7 days. My cousin Manong Boni was in town last week, so I have been eating out with the the talofa crew. I went to Badlands in San Francisco in the Castro area. We stayed overnight in the Marriott, then we had dim sum at Hong Kong Flower Lounge.
