I read the book Shopaholic & Baby by Sophie Kinsella. I liked the book, once I started reading I could not put it down, some parts are funny. It is a continuation of the author's previous books about Becky shopping a lot. Last night, I watched Die Hard movie with Bruce Willis which I liked the movie.

Wed: Lakeside Cafe in Mountain View, Stanford Faculty Club for sandwich
Thu: Arikato for sushi on Rengstorff in Mountain View, next to Costco
Fri: Bombay Garden for lunch buffet in Santa Clara, Scott's for dinner

So where did I shop? Macy's twice this week, some of the clothes are an extra 25% off; DSW for shoes is having a sale up to 80% from June 28 to June 30

home auction

This morning I went to the home auction of foreclosure homes in the Bay Area. First time for me to go there. I didn't buy a home but I observed the bidding of houses in the Peninsula area. Yesterday, I went to Bera's graduation party at her house and she has so many family members there. I watched Fantastic 4 movie which was not good, a few parts were cheezy. I went to Valley Fair for the Bath & Body Works semi-annual sale. Last Friday, I went to my company BBQ and I won $10 gift card for Olive Garden or Red Lobster from the raffle. I thought I was not going to win because there were like over 100 people at the BBQ. Later that Friday, I went to Euro Delights from Nga's recommendation for dessert, I wanted to eat tiramisu but it was sold out, so instead I ordered Flan Tiramisu which was okay. Then I went to Sono Sushi for dinner. Last Thursday, I had lunch at Maria Elena. Today, I had lunch at Santa Ramen which was good from Xine's recommendation.

I will be meeting up with Day at Cascal in Mountain View. It will be good to catch up with her since she is here for a few weeks from Japan. Yesterday I had lunch at El Toritto and the day before I had lunch at Sizzler.

bingo

Last night I played bingo with three of my aunts, I was surprised as old women they move fast and I was struggling to find my number and they keep pointing out to me the numbers that I didn't cover. I had rosary at my house. I cooked chicken adobo which was so good, baked veggie puffs, and prepared salad.

Blonde Theory by Kristin Harmel

I read the book The Blonde Theory by Kristin Harmel which Maria recommended to read. It was a funny book about a smart attorney pretending to be a dumb blonde. Here's a recap of the week:

Wednesday: Crazy Buffet for $7.99 lunch
Thursday: Mario's Italian food off of Moffett Blvd in Mountain View for lunch
Friday: Joy Luck Place for dinner on 4th in San Mateo

cheesecake factory

I went to Cheesecake Factory for Kandice's birthday. I tried out one of the new cheesecake Tres Leche which was okay. I had lunch at Szechuan in Mountain View. Yesterday, I had lunch at Lakeside Cafe in shoreline park area. Nordstrom has the half yearly sale. I need to check out the sale this weekend. On Wednesay, I had lunch at Maria Elena's in Alviso for the buffet. I had dinner at El Calderon which was okay for El Salvadorean food in Mountain View.

shopping

I bought trousers at Gap and a top at Ann Taylor at Stanford Shopping Center. I had lunch at Armadillo Willy's for lunch with my co-workers, then I went to Scott's for garlic fries. Yesterday, I had lunch at Arikato in Mountain View near Costco.

invitations

Last night, I was helping Ruth make her wedding invitations. I watched the movie Mr. Brooks which was good. Last weekend, I watched Pirates of the Carribean which I also liked, better than the 2nd movie. I had dim sum at Ming's today with my cousin Lynn. I will be leaving soon to eat Cream Puffs at Beard Papa with Xine and Mel. Over the week, I had lunch at Bangkok Spoon in Mountain View, Yo Yo Sushi in Rivermark, Bombay Garden on Lawrence Expressway, and dim sum at Saigon Seafood restaurant on Lawrence Expressway. I eat out way too much, I need to start cooking at home.
