shooter

I watched the movie Shooter and I liked it. I have not been to the movie theatres in a while since I tend to rely on netflix for DVDs. I had dim sum today on Lawrence Expressway near the 101 exit, I forgot the name of the restaurant. They had good calamari and overall dim sum. Yesterday, I had lunch at King Wah's for Chinese food. I ate out with my co-workers.

birthday

My birthday was on Sunday. I spent the weekend eating a lot. I ate yummy sesame bread at Ma's restaurant in San Jose for Islam Chinese food. The place has free ice cream. I went shopping at Valley Fair. Then I had dinner at La Milpa, then we got pearl tea at Fantasia. I spent the day with Xine. I worked a little bit in the morning both on Saturday and Sunday to prepare slides for a review meeting. On my actual birthday, I had dim sum with Thanh at Ming's, the waiter at Ming's overheard us talking about my birthday, and then surprised us with mango dessert with a lighted candle, then we went to Tea Era for bubble tea. Later on, I had dinner at Thaiphoon in Palo Alto which Kris brought a yummy cake from Seng Bakery. I got to blow out candles three times. On Monday, I had dinner with my friends from college, we were surprised that the waiter brought out fried banana and ice cream for my birthday, the waiter overhead my friends talking about my birthday and plus the presents were next to me on the seat.

punchline

I went to a comedy club Punchline in San Francisco, Nico Santos was really funny and the other two comedians were not so funny, Emo Philips. Before that I went to Banana Leaf in Milpitas and the place expanded from the last time I was there.
