Puerto Vallarta

I will be leaving for Puerto Vallarta tomorrow. I'm going with Maria because she has time share. I will return on Tuesday after Labor Day.

wine tasting

I had lunch at Buca di bepo in Campbell for Hazel's birthday. Afterwards, I went wine tasting at Tee's friends place. I liked teh red wine Barbera. I had dinner at the kitchen for Chinese food in Millbrae. Yesterday, I had dinner at Korean BBQ Palace in Sunnyvale. Tomorrow, I'm going to eat out more in San Fran. weekend eating feast

Over the weekend, I ate a lot of food with my family. I went to Korean BBQ Palace in Sunnyvale on El Camino Real on Saturday for lunch, so so so good. Later that day, I went to Fresh Choice for dinner. My dad so complained about Fresh Choice because the place doesn't have enough meat. On Sunday, I went to Miyake for the bento boxes.

shakira

I went to he Shakira concert last night at HP Pavilion. My favorite CD of Shakira is the Donde Estan Los Lodrones? I don't understand what she is saying but i like th beat. Today, I went to Tapioca Express for passion fruit boba.

Mom's birthday

Today is my mom's birthday. I will be taking her out to lunch for Asian food. I brought my work home because I have a deadline to meet on Monday.

salsa dancing

I went salsa dancing for free at Japantown with Maria and Rhoda. I had fun at the class especially when I spinned. Before the class, we ate at Kazoo for sushi. I went to Tapioca Express for lunch, I was craving the crispy pepper chicken and barley milk tea. Yesterday, I had lunch at tofu house in Palo Alto with my co-workers.

I used to work in Palo Alto. My computer was moved this morning to Sunnyvale.

Burma Superstar

Over the weekend, I went to San Fran with Xine and Tee for Xine's belated birthday. I learned how to ride the bart and muni. I went to the Nihonmachi festival in Japantown. It was a small festival and the interesting thing I saw was the sushi soap. We went over to eat in the Richmond district on Clement at Burma Superstar. We went there 10 minutes before 5pm when the restaurant opens for dinner, and we had to wait in line. Then we went to Creation Desserts to eat fruity desserts. We wanted to go to Beard Papa's for cream puffs but the place was closed, so we went to Mel's diner instead for desserts. I had the strawberry shortcake. On Sunday, I went over to Hazel's house to see her 3 month old baby. Her baby is so cute and chubby cheeks. Then we went to get boba at Fantasia at Rivermark. Afterwards, I watched the movie Step Up with Tee. The movie was okay. I liked the dance moves.

49ers game

I have a dentist appointment after lunch time. In the evening, I'm going to the 49ers vs. Bears game at Candlestick with my cousin Mary.

swim

I'm going to go swimming after work at Maria's apartment complex. I don't remember the last time I went swimming. I had lunch at Sushi House with my co-worker.

gym

So far I have been going to the gym every day for the past 6 days. I try to alternate between the treadmill and elliptical. I might go to the computer history museum during lunch time since it is a company sponsored event.

rojo

I had lunch at Rojo wrap in Palo Alto town & country village. I ordered the salmon wrap but the steak wrap tasted better. Yesterday, I went to Chaat Cafe (Indian fast food) in Fremont to meet up with Shilpa and then we went to Newpark Mall. Later I met up with my cousin Lynn at Scott's.

last day of rosary

My family and I had the last day of rosary/prayer for the novena (9 days after the death of my aunt a year ago). After the rosary, we went to Ming's for dim sum. I went shopping with Tee at Valley Fair. I bought pants at Limited which I like the feel of the material. I also shopped at Lady Footlocker, Nike, and Discovery Store for gym wear and a present. Then we wanted to eat Ethiopian food but we were not sure where it was so we drove along Hamiton Ave. in Campbell looking for the place but it turns out that the Ethopian place was on Campbell Ave. near Winchester Blvd. Instead we ate at Cafe Artemis Mediterrean cuisine in the Pruneyard area in Campbell which recently opened 10 days ago. I liked the sangria, foccia looking bread, the grilled salmon, and hundei gundei (I forgot the spelling.) After that, Tee made mojitos which were good.

sleep

I had only 3 hours of sleep last night. I tossed and turned for 2 hours then I gave up on trying to sleep and went to the gym this morning.

metreon

Over the weekend, I went to the metreon in San Francisco to watch 3 movies. First, I watched my super exgirlfriend which was an okay movie. Second, I watched devil wears prada twice which I recommend. Third, I watched Miami Vice which I didn't like because the dialog was confusing for me and the camera motion was making me a bit dizzy. For the past couple of days, my family and I have started prayer/rosary for my aunt because it has been a year since her death. The rosary is suppose to be for 9 or 10 days.
