training class

I have been in training class for designing chips for the past few days. Tomorrow is my last day of training.

CA Academy of Science

I went to San Francisco yesterday with Maria to visit the California Academy of Science. The museum is so small, I saw stuffed ducks, birds, and a bear. I saw live penguins, fish, turtles, and snakes. The 1st floor had more to see than the 2nd floor. We were in the museum for about an hour and a half. Before the museum, we ate lunch at Buca di Peppo which is next door to the museum, then we had dessert at Beard Papa's for cream puffs. I got the chocolate cream puff and vanilla eclair. We had to wait in the long line. Today, I'm going to bring my mom to get her right foot massaged since she sprained it last week at my aunt's house in Milpitas. I will be meeting Lynn at Scott's, then I will be picking up Lindsay at the airport.

taqueria la bamba

Last night I had a burrito with Tee from Taqueria La Bamba which was good and rated a 10 at jatbar. Christine recommended the burrito place. Yesterday, I had lunch at Yo Yo Sushi with Maria at the usual place. Today, I had lunch at La Playa Grill with Lynn at Stanford Mall. I went to the gym last night and the night before.

Scott's

I went to Scott's two days in a row. I ordered the Jim Green martini which is bitter for me. I rather stick to the tropical malibu and clams. I went to the gym to work out on the elliptical machine.

Yank Sing

Yesterday, Tee and I picked up YY from the airport. We had dim sum at Yank Sing in San Francisco near the Embarcadero area. The Shanghai dumpling (xiao long bao) is so good, you can taste the soup inside. Later on, we had dinner at Mayflower Lounge in Milpitas. Today, I went to Tapioca Express with YY for boba and the crispy pepper chicken, then I dropper her off at the airport. I so miss hanging out with YY.

straight perm

Yesterday, I went to dim sum with my cousin Lynn at Golden Wok. Then we went to Imagine Hair Salon for a trim and the hair stylists convinced me to get the straight perm. It took about 3 hours. It was painful when they got the straight iron and were pulling my hair and a few times the hot iron hit my scalp. I can shampoo my hair after 48 hours. Before dim sum, I went to the gym, and I went again this morning. I'm going to the luau tonight with my cousin Mary and Tee.

Maggiano's

I'm going to Maggiano's in Santana Row to eat lunch for my co-worker Irene's baby shower. She is going to have a boy. She is due in a few months. Yesterday, I went to the gym and I ran 5 miles on the treadmill.

Cook's Seafood

I went to Cook's Seafood in Menlo Park for lunch. I had the clam chowder bread bowl, it was okay. Next time, I'll probably get the fish and chips.

Pirates of the Carribean

On Saturday, I went to Stockton with my dad to visit my 2 grandaunts. It was good to see them and catch up. On Sunday, I watched Pirates of the Carribean which I liked. I can't wait to watch the next movie. I went to Scott's before the movie. The bartendar makes good sangrias. Yesterday, I went to Miyake with Lynn for lunch and after work I went to the gym with Lindsay.

Scott's again

Last night, I went to Scott's Seafood. Today, I went shopping at Stanford mall and then I went to the gym.

3 miles

I went to the gym last night and I ran 3 miles on the treadmill. I'll gradually increase another mile over the weekend. Yesterday, I had lunch at CPK (California Pizza Kitchen) with my cousin Lynn, Dave, and Joel. Then I had appetizers and drinks at the usual place Scott's Seafood.

Independence Day

The day before yesterday, I went to Tomatino for lunch with Maria and I got the express lunch pizza. Afterwards, I had an early dinner at El Jardin in Santana Row with Al, Luci, and Ruth. I liked the sangria and authentic Mexican food. Then we played miniature golf. I accidently hit my golf ball in the water but later found another golf ball in a different fountain to use for the rest of the game. Then we ate at In&Out Burger since we ordered so little at El Jardin. Then we went to the movie drive in at San Jose Capitol Expressway area. We watched the movie Click, it was an okay movie. Yesterday, I ate dim sum at Ming's with my cousin Kito, Lynn, my uncles, and aunt. Then we went shopping at Stanford. I finally bought white pants which Banana Republic does free hemming if you buy the item on full price. We had dinner at Cheesecake Factory. I had the pineapple turnover cheesecake which was good. It is not on the menu.

2 miles

I ran 2 miles yesterday at the gym on the treadmill. I walked about 2 miles with my cousin Kito at Shoreline Park in Mountain View. Last night, I went to Scott's Seafood and ordered the yummy mojitos and manila clams. I don't have work today and tomorrow because of Independence Day tomorrow.

dim sum

I'm going to walk for 30 minutes around Shoreline with my cousin Kito, then we are going to eat my favorite dim sum.
