Devil wears prada

I had an egg bagel sandwich for breakfast at Cafe In Fusion in San Francisco on Mission St. near the parking garage on 4th St. with my cousin Kito. I liked the movie Devil Wears Prada. We watched it at the metreon. Then we went to Beard Papa's (opened last month) for cream puffs which were good. I ordered the vanilla and grean tea cream puffs. Then we went to Fook Yuen for dim sum. Then we walked over to Quickly for barley milk tea boba.

Go Go Cafe

Yesterday, I had horchata (sweet rice water) and fish with mango taco at La Playa Grill in Stanford Mall. I liked the horchata and I'll pass on the fish taco next time. I was browsing through the mall and I didn't see any good sales, it seems like most of the sales are during the weekend. I will be picking up YY this morning, it will be so good to see her. She is only here for the day, but she is coming back for one more day in the middle of July before she heads back to Singapore. We will probably go to Go Go Cafe in the sunset area in San Francisco which is one of our favorite restaurant.

Dana St. coffee

I ordered the tonkatsu at sushitomi yesterday which I didn't like. I should have ordered the sushi. Afterwards, we went to Dana Street roasting for coffee and I got the thai iced coffee and it sure woke me up for the rest of the afternoon. Christine recommended a really good carnitas burrito place on Old Middlefield Way near Rengstorff Ave. in Mountain View called Taqueria La Bamba. It is not a sit down place.

sushitomi

I will go to lunch with Xine at Sushitomi in downtown Mountain View. Yesterday, I picked up Tee from the airport and Airtran uses the international terminal in SFO even though it is a domestic carrier.

duck pond

Yesterday, I walked for 3 miles around the duck pond area close to my house with Christine. It took about an hour to walk the loop.

elliptical

I went to the gym yesterday. I went on the elliptical for 30 minutes. After I finished, I felt bouncy and that adrenaline rush feeling.

Thai Stick

Last night, I had dinner with Tee before her flight at Thai Stick in Millbrae. I liked the food that we ordered of pineapple fried rice, duck curry, and tofu clay plot. I will drop off my mom today at my aunt's house in Fremont.

break up

Last night, I went to Mexicali Grill in Santa Clara with Maria and the restaurant offers half price for appetizers at the bar. After eating, we watched the movie Break Up, a few parts were funny but I would wait for the movie to go on DVD. I have to go to the San Fran airport twice today, I will pick up my cousin Lynn and her parents in the morning, then I will drop off Tee in the evening.

Tlaquepaque

Yesterday, I had dinner at Tlaquepaque Mexican restaurant with Day and her family. I ordered the veggie burrito which was good because I was getting tired of eating lots of meat the past couple of days. I liked the horchata drink and the restaurant served it in a big glass. The portions are so big, even though the menu says small taco, it looks like a big taco. Day is leaving tomorrow to go back to Germany.

Left Bank

Last night, I went to Left Bank for my cousin Lindsay's birthday with Manang Mary and Martin. We sat next to two Alaskan dogs which we loved to stare at. I had the creme brulee for dessert which was good. I didn't eat an entree because I ate dinner at pasta pomodoro with Manang Mary which I had the gnocci which by the way is so my favorite. I remembered eating the gnocci from Austria.

I'm back from PI

I just got back this morning. My flight arrived half an hour early. I had lunch with Maria at Yo Yo Sushi. That is our usual lunch meeting place. I like the sushi but it is a bit pricey. We always sit at the sushi bar so we can get in and out of there quickly. I might go to Santana Row for my cousin Lindsay's birthday.

I'm in Paranaque, Philippines

I went to shoemart for the grocery and it was so crowded. I rode the tricycle to get there. Early this morning I went to Casino Filipino to gamble at the pai gow tables. Yesterday, I went to Batangas (neighbors Tagaytay) for my cousin's wedding, the mountains and green scenery makes it so relaxing. I have been just eating, sleeping, and sweating for most of the day. My cousin's dog killed a cat today. It was biting the head and neck.

Philippines -> I'll be back June 20th

I will be leaving for Manila, Philippines this afternoon. I will be back Tuesday June 20th in the morning. I'm going to my cousin's wedding on Saturday June 17th.

passport agency

Yesterday, after kayaking, Dayna, Ruth, Diego, and I had dinner at TGIF in Cupertino. I had the ultimate mango berry margarita and I didn't taste the alcohol I guess because I got it in a slushy form. I also had the flat iron steak which was okay. Today, I have to go to the passport agency in San Francisco to add more pages to my passport. When I was in Nepal trying to get my VISA, the immigration guy said, "What am I going to do with this useless passport?" He said that because there were no pages for him to put the VISA stamp. So he had to put the VISA stamp on the barcode side.

kayaking

I'm going to go kayaking at Monterey Bay Kayaks with Dayna and Ruth. This will be my 2nd time kayaking. I first went kayaking at Moss Landing.

cousin's wedding

I'm working today because I have to finish my tasks at work before I leave for Manila, Philippines. I'm going there for my cousin's wedding. I will be part of the wedding ceremony by giving the bread and wine during mass. I will be travelling from June 13th to June 20th. I plan to go kayaking tomorrow at Monterey Bay Kayaks with Dayna and Ruth.

Taverna Gyros

I had lunch at PF Chang's for Kandice's birthday with Hazel and Jerome. I had dinner at Taverna Gyros in Sunnyvale. I so love the tiramisu at Taverna. I had the guvera (casserole), it was good.

GAP

Yesterday, I had lunch with Maria at Yo Yo Sushi. I went to the GAP and Express at Valley Fair to shop for Kandice's birthday present. GAP is one of my favorite stores. I also like Ann Taylor. I plan to have a late lunch with my co-workers for dim sum.

ethics training

Yesterday, I had ethics training at work. Every year I have to take the training class. I plan to meet Shilpa tonight to go shopping at Valley Fair.

Iberia

Last night, I had dinner with Dayna at Iberia for Spanish food in Menlo Park. We had sangria and tapas. I was feeling a bit lightheaded after drinking one glass of sangria.

peninsula pop concert

Yesterday, I went to Christine's violin performance at the Peninsula Pop Concert with Tee at Gunn High School in Palo Alto. Afterwards, we went to Kan Zamen mediterrean food for dinner.

I'm in Elk Grove

I'll be back tonight. I have beenwatching LOST season 1.

El Jardin

Last night, I had dinner outdoors at El Jardin in Santana Row with Dayna and Christine. Kimmie couldn't make it because she had to work late. I had lunch with my co-workers Diana and Huy at Tibco close to my work. Last night, I went to the Madonna concert at HP Pavilion with Lynn, Lindsay and Tee. I had lunch with Christine at Ryowa Japanese noodle in downtown Mountain View.
