I'm leaving soon for the airport to go to Central Europe visiting Prague, Krakow, Budapest, Vienna, and Frankfurt. I will be visiting Dayna in Frankfurt. I'll return on Sun 4/9 in the evening.

packing

I need to finish packing today for my trip. I will be going with Christine and Shally to Central Europe. I'm leaving tomorrow in the afternoon. I was so tired last night that I slept early and I missed watching Amazing Race. I had lunch at Golden Wok in downtown Mountain View with my cousin Lynn. I have not had dim sum in such a long time. I used to have dim sum every Sunday with my cousins but two of them moved away.

Jing Jing

I plan to have lunch at Jing Jing in downtown Palo Alto with my cousin Lynn. I started packing this morning for my Central Europe trip.

PF Chang's

I went to PF Chang's for lunch with my cousin Lynn, and we found brown hair in the wonton soup we ordered, good thing the waiter didn't charge the soup on our bill. After lunch, we went to Banana Republic and Macy's. I didn't find any good sales.

yesterday

Yesterday, I went to GAP at Valley Fair in Santa Clara to shop. I wanted to go to Banana Republic to shop for the 40% sale for the spring sale but I didn't have time because I had to pick up my cousin Lenore at the San Jose airport. I bought a denim travel jacket with lots of inside packets from her. My cousin Lenore designed the jacket and designs hand bags made with newspapers. I met up with my cousin Lynn for dinner at Scott's because of the happy hour half price for drinks and appetizers. After dinner, we went to Target, Tower Records, Trader Joe's, and Safeway. I bought the James Blunt and Earth, Wind, & Fire CDs. By the way, I love the aqua fresca (flavored water / fresh water) at Puerto Azul. I also love the seafood platter, it was so good.

I'm going to have lunch with Luci at Puerto Azul in San Jose for Mexican food to eat yummy seafood. Luci could not make the luncheon yesterday at Hong Fu. I'm working today because I need to flex my work time this week because I will be leaving for Central Europe this Thursday. I am going to Prague, Czech Republic; Krakow, Poland; Budapest, Hungary; Vienna, Austria; and Frankfurt, Germany to visit Dayna. I will be travelling for 11 days / 9 nights. I'll be back on Sunday 4/9 in the evening.

I went to Nail Spa in Santa Clara with my cousin Mary for a dark red pedicure. Afterwards, we walked to Kabab & Curry Indian food for dinner which was good. I would go there again to try out the lunch buffet.

Hong Fu

I am going to meet my dorm friends for lunch at Hong Fu Chinese restaurant in Cupertino. Afterwards, I might get a pedicure with my cousin Manang Mary. Last night I watched the movie Thank you for smoking with Teresa. I liked the movie because it made me laugh. After the movie, we went to Tapioca Express for bubble tea.

movie: V for Vendetta

Last night, I watched the movie V for Vendetta starring Natalie Portman with Teresa at AMC mercado. I thought the movie was okay, I guess because I was so tired yesterday that I slept a little in the middle of the movie. Teresa and my co-worker liked the movie. Another person sitting in our row was also sleeping, we could hear him snoring. It has been a while since I've seen a movie, the last movie I saw was Mrs. Henderson.

book: noli me tangere

I finished reading the book Noli Me Tangere (The Lost Eden) by Jose Rizal (national hero of the Philippines). It was a sad book to read of how the Spaniards tortured the Filipinos in the olden days when the Spaniards ruled Philippines for about 300 years. Last night, I bought the Mary Kay products of the 3 in 1 cleanser, mosturizer, and liquid foundation. I just wanted to only buy the liquid foundation but Mary Kay's policy would not let me buy that separate, so I had to buy 3 of the products to get the liquid foundation.

I'm going to Thai Basil for lunch with Hazel since I was not able to meet her last Friday for lunch for my birthday get together. After work, I'm going to Shilpa's house because someone from Mary Kay will market the make up. I don't wear make up. I'll just see what Mary Kay has to offer. Maybe I can get a powder foundation to match my skin tone which I have a hard time finding a perfect match.

work seminar

I'm going to a Nu Horizons Electronics seminar regarding the Xilinx ISE application that I might want to use for work. The seminar is from 9am - 5pm and the best part is that breakfast and lunch is provided. On another note, I had so much fun in Vegas. I kept laughing a lot and so much drama going on. I want to write the drama on my blog but I should not.

I'm in Las Vegas

So far, I have been gambling a lot on pai gow poker tables and wheel of fortune slot machines. I lost already $340, I even went to the ATM to get more money to gamble because I felt so addicted and hooked. So far, I gambled at Bally's, Paris, Aladdin, and MGM. I was winning money at MGM because of the fortune bonus of pai gow poker, and I got four of a kind of the 8 number, even though I was winning, it didn't make up for the loses from Bally's, Paris, and Aladdin. Yesterday, I didn't sleep at all, since we arrived in Las Vegas around midnight, so my cousin Lynn and I were up until late afternoon. I finally went to sleep around 4pm because I was busy gambling in MGM for 6 hours and met up with my cousin Kito, and we finally got to sleep in his room. Yesterday morning, I gambled for 6 hours non-stop, I didn't want to drink water because I didn't want to leave the gambling table. I felt like I did a 12 hour shift for work trying to make money. I had a fun time. I'm leaving Vegas this afternoon to go back home.

today is my birthday

I will be leaving tonight for Las Vegas to meet up with my cousin Kito and my friend Bennie at MGM hotel. I will be back Monday night.

I'm going to King Wah Chinese restaurant near the Sunnyvale Town & Country village for lunch with my engineering friends from college to have an early get together for my birthday. It was difficult to get everybody's schedule together to meet up for lunch because my engineering friends will be on travel the next weeks. It seems like the only time I get to see my engineering friends when it is someone's birthday. I'm going to Sino Chinese restaurant in Santana Row with my cousins and my friends for also an early get together for my birthday.

L&L Hawaiian BBQ

I'm going to L&L Hawaiian BBQ for lunch with my co-worker Diana. After work, I am going to meet up with Maria to cook chicken for dinner. Today is Vimala's birthday. I tried to get a hold of her but I just got her voice message. Yesterday, I booked my plane ticket for Las Vegas. I will be leaving Sat. 3/18 evening and returning Mon. 3/20 evening.

My cousin Lindsay will interview me after work for her health class regarding inequality in the health field. By the way, I am still sore from snowboarding. I will meet my cousin at Starbucks. I went to the cafeteria at my work to have lunch with my co-worker.

Yesterday after work I went to jamba juice with my co-worker for the grean tea mist smoothie, a new flavor, then I went back to work for half an hour, then my cousin Lynn invited me for dinner at Scott's Seafood with Caroline for happy hour half price on drinks and appetizers. I'm going to have lunch with my co-worker Diana either at Baja Fresh or a Hawaiian restaurant on El Camino Real in Palo Alto.

Xanh

I had lunch with Tee at Xanh Vietnamese in downtown Mountain View, it is a new restaurant that recently opened a month ago. I like the decor and plateware. I woke up this morning so sore, my whole body aches, even when I got out of bed and when I started walking my muscles ache.

I'm so sore from snowboarding yesterday for 6 hours. I took a beginners lesson for snowboarding, I learned how to stop, turn right, and turn left. I went to Ikeda for lunch at Auburn for yummy hamburgers. Yesterday, I fried lumpia for dinner.

I'm just waiting for my co-worker to finish work then we are leaving for Tahoe. It is raining so hard right now.

I will leave tonight with my co-workers to snowboard in Tahoe. I will be back Sunday afternoon. I will go to Homewood Mountain Resort on Tahoe's West Shore. I will be lodging in Tacoma which is about 2.5 miles from Homewood.

I had lunch with my cousins Lynn and Lindsay at California Pizza Kitchen (CPK) at Stanford Mall. Afterwards, I went to Macy's and REI to buy socks and a black puffy jacket. Later, I might have dinner with my co-worker.

bike

I need to bring my mountain bike to Bike Connection in Palo Alto because Marin the bike company told me that a recall has been issued on my bike because the frame needs to be replaced for safety concerns. My dad had to dig up the bike in the garage. It will take Marin bike two weeks to replace the bike frame. I miss riding the bike, I used to bike a lot with my cousin Lynn and Dayna. Oh well, since it has been raining, I'll wait until the weather clears up.

While I was waiting for my flight yesterday in Los Angeles, I finished reading the book Shopgirl by Steve Martin. I liked the book and it was only 130 pages. Thanks Tee for recommending the book. I can't wait to watch the movie on DVD next month. Yesterday, I had dim sum with my cousin Boni at Golden Dragon in Chinatown.

I'm in Los Angeles

I took the metrolink train this morning from Laguna Niguel to Los Angeles Union Station. It took about 1 hour and a half for the train ride. I will be going with my cousin Boni to University of Southern California, then go eat an early dinner, then he will drop me off at the Los Angeles LAX airport.

I will be driving to Los Angeles with my mentor Teri. She is moving to Laguna Hills which is halfway between Los Angeles and San Diego. I will visit my cousin Boni tomorrow. I will fly back on Monday night. Yesterday, I didn't go to the Cinequest film festival, instead I went to Cine Arts in Santana Row with Christine to watch the movie Mrs. Henderson starring Judi Dench. I liked the movie because Judi Dench's character was so funny.

I'm going to Koi Palace for dim sum in Daly City with Christine and her co-worker. Afterwards, we might go watch the Flourish movie, part of the Cinequest film festival. Yesterday, after PF Chang's, we went to Starbucks to try out the new grean tea latte, but there were no seats available, so we went to Borders to sit in the kids section to talk because the cafe area of Borders also had no available seats and some people were studying and it was a quiet area. More people were sitting on the floor and talking in the kids section.

Heeral's Birthday

I am going to have lunch with my co-worker Diana at our work cafeteria. I have only been to that cafeteria three times because it has a small serving section, only one hot station to get food. I would have to walk 10 minutes to go to the cafeteria. In the evening, I am going to PF Chang's for Heeral's birthday dinner, we are celebrating a few weeks later because Indhu is in town for Heeral's birthday. Yesterday, I got a phone call from Marin bike and I got a recall on my bike that the frame has to be replaced because it is not safe to ride my bike. It has been such a long time since I rode my bike, I think the last time I rode it was with Dayna. After work, I'm going to Ann Taylor with my cousin Lynn to shop for shoes because they have sale... if you buy 1 pair of shoes, you get the 2nd pair free.

I'm going to Ryowa Japanese Noodle House in downtown Mountain View for lunch with Kandice and Ryan. Later in the evening, I'm going to watch Capote with my cousin. I didn't get to watch Capote last week with my mentor because we didn't have time. Yesterday, I had lunch with Maria at Yo Yo Sushi.

Last night, I had dinner at Scott's Seafood in the Palo Alto town & country village with my cousin Lynn. They have half price during happy hour (4-7pm) for appetizers and drinks. Our bill was so cheap.
